It’s become a tourist destination with a small town feel, a haven for artists and writers and a fabulous place to live. You’ll find architecturally significant historic homes near downtown and a wide collection of diverse home styles from planned communities to individual farms set on the lush rolling hills of Orange County. Are you curious about active adult community living here in the Chapel Hill area? They can provide many advantages and allow you to enjoy an active lifestyle with other folks with similar interests. Pickleball anyone? Perhaps the best perk of living in 55+ communities is that they provide amenities galore. Many include a snazzy clubhouse, pool, tennis (and pickleball) courts as well as a vibrant calendar of events and volunteer opportunities. Your HOA dues will go toward covering exterior maintenance costs and most amenities. Active adult communities are becoming more and more popular in the U.S. and our area has some of the best.
